Your sister picked you up from the car dealership? you didn't have to walk? Your mechanic told you the car was overdue for inspection? not a police officer? Lucky you!! Reminds me of the day my penance was to pray for my husband to have a good day.I did. A few hours later my daughter called saying she was the cause of an accident and totaled her dad's car but she wasn't injured. I couldn't leave work so I got to call my husband with the good news.

The first summer we lived in the UK and traveled to the states for a holiday I used my mobile everywhere. I mistakenly thought I was on the same plan as hubs. Oops. In fact the bill was so high the phone company actually rang the house before they debited my bank account to ask if my phone had been stolen. Let's just say the $/pound exchange rate at that point was double and it wasn't pretty.

It doesn't really happen to my mobile (cell) bill, but basically I get caught out with anything the moment I get complacent. So, for example, months are swinging by and payments are being met, so stop checking my bank statement so thoroughly, and then I suddenly discover that the maintenance company has CANCELLED THE STANDING ORDER 3 MONTHS AGO and I now I owe them 600 quid that I spent because I thought it had been saved by my own careful frugality!

Wow, and it's only Monday! It won't be like this all week:) I feel you on the Kitchen and Family Room. I had enough of that so I put the kids on a clean up schedule that rotates on a weekly basis. No on goes to bed without the rooms being cleaned:) The schedule really works!
