I have a 12 year old and an 18 year old (who is now off to college). My 12 year old daughter is actually neater than my son. He was home for 3 weeks over Christmas break, and it made me realize how very messy he is. There were little hairs all over the counter (shaving with electric shaver), splatters all over the mirror (looked like a windshield), open toothpaste tubes on the counter. Hair, face and other products strewn all over the counter, wet towels on the floor, and clothes littered the floor too. WOW.
