I Could Get Used To This. . .

Getting woken up at 6:00 a.m. by Ponzi's Boyf.'s cell phone alarm while away on vacation isn't so bad after all.

In fact, I highly recommend it.

For it gives the awakee some precious alone time to read a sweeping historical novel. . . or blog on Ponzi's MacBook . . . or people-watch (well, you can't really call them "people" in the true sense of the word . . . at this time of day it's "crazy obsessed athletes" or "people with impatient little doggies"watch. . .) or ponder some of life's greater mysteries (like how it was that I never thought I liked crabcakes until just the other day. . . ) all while quietly sipping multiple cups of coffee on the breezy front porch.

Yeah, I could get used to this (especially the MacBook part . . . )

But can you log into her Facebook page? I'm scared to see what my children write...

I LOVE being up early! I'm weird that way.

I really want to be a morning person, and I try really hard by asking my husband to wake me early.
Apparently, though, I growl and bare my teeth when he tries.

So now, he just drops the coffee on my nightstand and runs from the room....

oooh I love the mornings for that reason, so quiet and peaceful, just me and the birds :-)

My son thinks it's funny that he sets his dive watch for 4:20 PM...just to mess with me while I had it to get the wristband fixed...

I'm one of the crazies with the impatient doggie.

OOOH! I have been lusting after those MacBooks. If you tell me there is an iPhone there I'll be on the porch with you within 24 hours. Which will be impressive since I have no idea where you are. You don't happen to have one of those nifty GPS things do you?!

As much as I hate it, waking up early really makes the day better!

Plus, you know, there's always naps.

dropping in to say hi! was going to leave a comment on your newest post about the things you hate about the beach, but don't see where to leave an actual comment. Love the new blog look, and of course that sense of humor! burnt feet and burnt everything at the beach..ugh..getting ready to go this next week, it seems my granddaughter and 18 year old are looking forward to it, I'm just tagging along.
